Nena Anderson‘s vocal stylings are reminiscent of a bygone era; a time when lounges were dark and smoky, cocktails were strong, and television and cell phones didn’t exist. Her distinct phrasing and warm contralto voice may bring to mind the sass and soul of Ella Fitzgerald and Patsy Cline, or the emotion of Billie Holiday, yet her voice is truly her own. She has released several songs in Europe and Asia on compilation discs alongside artists such as Jamie Cullum, Cesaria Evora, Michael Buble, and Nina Simone, including her own bossa nova tune entitled ‘Say You’ll Be Mine.’

More about Nena

Few musicians on this earth can play with the intuition and respect for the song as Bobby Furgo. He has recorded, toured and/or played with Leonard Cohen, Eric Burdon and The Animals, Nancy Sinatra, Lee Hazelwood, Pat Boone, Love and Rockets, Grant Lee Buffalo, Dolly Parton, Freddy Fender, Gene Pitney, Hank Tompson, James Burton, Jim Dickinson, and Wanda Jackson. He has made appearances at Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall and played on Jay Leno, the Tonight Show, and the Grammy winning movie, The Wonder Boys.

Adrian Demain has been performing music professionally since the early 1990’s as a guitarist, ukulele player, steel guitarist and singer. He spent 3 years as a member of Stray Cats’ bass player Lee Rocker’s band, and has performed and recorded with Forbidden Pigs, Thee Corsairs, Billy Watson, Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys and Brawley. He currently focuses on Hawaiian and jazz classics and American Songbook standards.

If you’re wondering if Adrian is the former pro-skateboarder / Bones Brigade guy…
yes, it’s him.

Jim Austin is everyone’s favorite bass player. He is a master of authentic percussive rhythm and holds down the beat with or without a drummer. Jim has performed with Smith’s Ranch Boys, Wanda Jackson, Brawley, and many others. When he’s not playing bass, Jim’s designing or building something fantastic in the high desert of California.
