THE SHOW
A tribute of Dolly’s hits from the 60’s to today featuring Nena Anderson and Brawley, including all-star touring and local musicians, with special guest vocalists (24 artists in all). A percentage of ticket sales and donations from the artists and fans all goes directly to Keep A Breast.
CONTEST: A Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers look alike contest. Prizes for the Best Dolly, Best Kenny, Best Dolly & Kenny Couple, and Honorable Mention.
KAB: Keep A Breast education booth with i love boobies! merchandise, educational materials, app downloads and breast cast art on display.
“My best friend founded Keep A Breast in 2000. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, she literally flew through a hurricane to cast me before my surgery. Since then, not only have I become an advocate for prevention and education, I also have become the Creative Director at KAB, contributing to projects with my graphics experience as well as musical soundtracks. This event is very close to my heart.”
COMMUNITY: I initially created this event commemorating my 3rd cancerversary (3rd year since diagnosis) in 2023 as a fun way to deliver breast cancer awareness in an unlikely space...through a concert. The community, friends and fans showed up in force... the sold out event raised several thousand dollars for Keep A Breast and created much demand for a 2024 show and more in the future. We hope to double our donations and impact this year.
LOVE: It’s Valentines Day, so let’s celebrate love for all with rhinestones and dancing! No need for a date, but Valentines and Galentines are welcome. In addition, this show has become an opportunity for me to showcase local female performers (and a few men) and introduce them to more audiences.
BOOBIES: Dolly Parton is inspiring with her decades of longevity as not only a performer, but as a songwriter, entrepreneur, fashion icon and philanthropist. Great songs, style and boobies make for a great show!
